Castor oil

General qualities

The oils are obtained by a pressing system, which consists exclusively of pressing the plant or fruit until the oil is “squeezed.” No other factor is involved in obtaining it, other than the strength of the pressure.

• They remain liquid at room temperature.
• Oils can be extracted from the fruit (olive oil, palm oil, argan oil…) or from the seed (sunflower oil, soybean, flax, castor oil…).
• To obtain oil from seeds or fruits, they undergo a pressing process.

Oleates are oils obtained through the process of maceration in vegetable oils. In the case of Sabores Bio Bio products, Amazonian almond, cusi, castor, majo, and coconut oils are available.
